The dad of the Vest protester who had his hand says he plans a suit, although his comrade says it is symbolic that the injury took place outside the National Assembly\.

“He has no hand left under the wrist,” Bernard Maillet, daddy of Sebastien Maillet, advised RT through an interview in its Paris studio, including that his son also sustained an eye injury and does not fully remember the traumatic episode.

“We plan to lodge a complaint, and we will see what happens from that point,” that he explained.

An activist who travels under the name Boudjema, that had been protesting alongside Maillet, said that the injury — one of hundreds continuing since the protests started in November — “concerns each of the Vests.”

“Sebastien was merely exercising his lawful right to show. Now he’s lost his hands. He is a plumber, he desired it to get his everyday life and his occupation,” he stated, sitting together with Maillet’s daddy.

It’s symbolic that he lost it in the front of the National Assembly — the house that represents the people. Yet there has not been a word from the authorities.

While specifics of the incident are still being investigated, the conflict happened when a group of Yellow Vests outnumbered a police program next to France’s lower chamber of parliament. The authorities responded by launching and exploded.

There are 133 continuing judicial questions within incidents that have occurred at demonstrations. Boudjema thinks it’s no accident that the violence continues despite President Emmanuel Macron’s effort to pacify protesters using a “national argument.”

“The federal disturbances and anger are still growing throughout the property,” Boudjema stated, adding that a demonstration to honor Maillet is scheduled for the coming Wednesday.
